Integrated Management System checklist
Is your “integrated” system actually integrated, or three systems in one binder?
- Is there one policy framework covering quality, environment and safety dimensions?
- Is there a single documented-information system — one numbering, one control process?
- Does one risk and opportunity process feed all disciplines?
- Are objectives set once with QHSE dimensions, not three unaligned lists?
- Is there one internal audit programme sampling all standards together?
- Is there one management review covering the whole system with combined inputs?
- Is there a single corrective-action process regardless of discipline?
- Do discipline-specific controls (permits, aspects, ITPs) keep their depth?
- Is ownership of the whole system assigned to someone with authority across it?
- Would a combined external audit find one system or three stapled together?
This checklist is a starting point prepared by Temporary Works Consulting & Design Ltd. It is not a substitute for the standard, for legislation, or for competent advice, and completing it does not make an organisation compliant or certified. A competent person must adapt it to your organisation before reliance.
