Contractor compliance self-assessment
The questions a principal contractor or PQQ assessor will ask about your business.
- Can you produce current insurance certificates without searching?
- Is there a training matrix showing each role’s required and held tickets with expiry dates?
- Are RAMS produced per task from a controlled template, and reviewed before start?
- Do you have documented arrangements for the high-risk activities you actually perform?
- Can you evidence competence for anyone you send to site — cards, training, experience?
- Do you report and investigate incidents, and can you show the last three closed out?
- Are your subcontractors (if any) approved and monitored the way clients monitor you?
- Do you hold or operate any management system, and does it match what you claim in bids?
- Are your public claims (certificates, memberships, standards) current and verifiable?
- Could you pass an unannounced document audit of your last completed job?
